Project Hope presents university provides to Lane County students in want

Going back to college, in particular these times, is less difficult with a minimal help.

The Challenge Hope Back again-to-University Giveaway, now in its 11th 12 months, kicked off at two Lane County universities Saturday. The two-day event supplies 1000’s of schoolchildren with some of the vital apparel and supplies they have to have to return to course for a new 12 months.

Pupils from 4J, Springfield, Bethel and Junction Metropolis university districts are selected to take part.

“These students may possibly have economic boundaries that other college students do not,” said Patti Buss, system director for the community Christian services business Just one Hope. “They may be in a position to get school materials, but might not be acquiring new footwear for the year.”
